As Science stream of the college is established in 2009, the department of Microbiology was established in 2012-13, under the able guidance of Hon. Principal Dr. R.S. Awasthi. The Department of Microbiology is young as compared to other departments and it is on parmentally non grant basis, and need some time for development. Department has been engaged to organize various curricular as well as co-curricular student orientated activities. Miss Sameena Sayyed, Miss. Kulkarni Manisha, Miss. Shastri Aparna. Mr. Bhandarkote S.D. and Miss. Khanapure, Miss.Kasbe Pratiksha, Miss.Diksha Dhaware, Miss.Shinde Shubhangi, Miss.Anzum Shaikh was contributed to the Department as CHB Lecturer.
In this college, there are many students who have been learning Microbiology as their optional subject in science faculty. A faculty of the department actively motivates to the students, to participate in Research Introduction 3 activity like (AVISKAR, Science Exhibitions etc.) and always tries for overall development of all students
